New Year’s Resolution
Wow, has it really been four and a half months since I posted anything? It would seem so, unfortunately. And as many of you might know, the date I set for the release of FayTown Calling came and went in between that time. First of all, an apology. I should have done many things, the foremost of which was post something, anything, when I realized I wasn’t going to hit that date. The purpose of this site is to be the main information hub for those who are so gracious to give me some of their time and/or money. I mean that. If you like my books, or I guess book since I can’t seem to get that second one out, and especially if you spend hard earned money or your limited time reading them, then you should be able to find more information on the rest. One Year of Being Published
My mother in law reads this blog (she’ll get a kick out of this), so I can’t use the expletives I wanted to when I realized what day it was. One year ago, I clicked submit and began funneling Sorcerer Rising through the process of being published on Amazon through KDP. That was a big friggin’ day for me. I spent the night prior polishing and getting things ready, then spent that Sunday writing out six and a half thousand words (a record for me until a couple months ago). That was one of my best writing sessions, those words went into the book with almost no editing and are a couple of my favorite scenes in the whole book. I spent Sunday night in a state of panic and euphoria, waking up throughout the night to search for the book on Amazon. I did that probably a dozen times…
