Welcome to the New Year!

Hello all, it has been awhile! At least since I posted anything here. If you are a regular visitor to this site, you know that for the most part it has always just been a hub. All my posts have always been over on Story Arcs (the tab up there next to news). That’s going to change going forward.

First, an explanation. I am an author, I published my first book Sorcerer Rising Aug. 12, 2013. I did it myself, self publishing through KDP. When I started Story Arcs I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with it but it quickly became a collection of publishing information, both as a way to seek info from the WordPress verse but also so I could help those looking for info themselves. As that continue, and because I just can’t keep quiet about things I enjoy, it also began to include writing, gaming, TV, etc. All the things I love in life and just can’t shut up about.

The way I see it now, most people come here because they read my book. I want my readers to have a dedicated source of communication from myself. If you took the time to find my book, find my website, read my book, dropped the cash, or gave anything of value to support me, you deserve it.

And while I’m on that topic, I really have to say thank you. Thank you for buying my book or any of my short stories. The world we live it, you probably chose it over something else, even if that was just a coke or a song on iTunes. If you read it, thank you for your time and I hope you enjoyed it. It takes hours to read a book, days even, and the fact that you read through mine means something.

And if you left a review, I worship the earth upon which you stand. You have no idea what that means for me personally or financially. A review is validation that I did something well, as well as a certification to other readers that at least someone liked it. Thank you.

Anyway, I will continue to post here about upcoming developments. Last year I published my novel, Sorcerer Rising, and two short stories, Heartless and Oliver Black. I have much bigger plans for 2014. Virgil’s world is a big one and he is only a very small part of it. I aim to introduce you to the the WyrmLords and the Vampire Courts, the Hollow World and the First Men, Grendal and Nod, werefolk, the Fay, the great creature so many mistakenly call Gaia, the Whisperer, the jungles under the surface of the moon, Nidia and all the other worlds of the Aether, Order and Chaos, the Myrrdin, the Curwen Clan, Dirty Dan…a whole world of monsters and myths and magic. I don’t know how far we’ll get this year, but I aim to dig deep.

Here’s to 2014.
